N97 Vs iPhone

N97 vs iPhone

If I was an iPhone I think I’d been feeling constantly under-attack. Every time a new phone is released, BAM let’s compare it to the iPhone. I’d be like, ‘Just leave me alone, why do you always have to compare me to other phones, can’t you just appreciate me for what I am?’

Sorry iPhone, here’s another attack on your increasingly fragile ego. But this time, it’s a worthy competitor - the Nokia N97. Fanfare.

Unfortunately it’s not a true comparison, theNokiaN97.com does not have an actual N97 to hand, but they have a nice picture of the two adversaries. Instead NokiaN97 speculates on why Nokia’s latest is better than Apple’s only handset. Here’s a potted break down.

• Resolution - N97 - 360×640 Vs iPhone’s pitiful 320 x 480

• Keyboard - N97 - Physical keyboard, bigger, wider, better typing
experience Vs iPhone on screen keyboard but this depends on a user’s preference (I actually hate touchscreen keyboards, so thumbs down from me)

• Headphones - N97 3.5 audio jack compatible with all headphones Vs iPhone which supports selected headphones (why so exclusive Apple, get over yourself)

• Memory - N97 - 32GM of built in memory Vs iPhone 8 or 16GB of memory (depending on model)

• Camera - N97 - 5 megapixel camera, LED flash, autofocus, Carl Zweiss optics Vs iPhone - 2 megapixel camera (might as well use a disposable camera)

• Battery - N97 - removable battery Vs iPhone - no-removable battery

Product Review: The Apple iPhone 3G

Posted by: Tech Geek  :  Category: Apple

Why does the iPhone 3G get so much hype these days? Is it all marketing gimmick? Are people just riding the bandwagon?

The release of the iPhone has almost become like a joke. We were in awe—almost incredulous—watching the lines of people at stores on the release day of the product. Buyers were almost scrambling trying to be among the first individuals to own an iPhone. Is the demand justified? What’s the good reason for the frenzy?

Excellent reviews have been popping everywhere on this so-called revolutionary phone. This review on the Apple iPhone 3G, for one, can be summed up in one sentence: The product is not disappointing at all.

It surely is an understatement. The Apple iPhone 3G is one of the best phones in the market these days. First off, it has a very sleek appearance. It has smooth, glossy surface and curves. And of course, we cannot miss the features. Its headline-grabbing feature is, of course, the 3G capability. This is one essential addition to the iPhone. The addition of 3G really makes this product superior. With 3G capability, it is now possible to enjoy mobile internet experience, something befitting the fast-paced knowledge worker. The practical advantages are endless. As a traveler, you are assured of network support. In Japan, for example, 3G is an absolute must for roaming. Another advantage is that you can make voice calls and researches at the same time. This is useful when calling and, at the same time, researching over the internet. In sum, the Apple iPhone 3G allows you to surf the internet, check emails, watch movies, organize appointments, and get directions through GPS.

Satisfied users can go on and on with the benefits and impressive features of this phone. Here’s more:

Activation is quick. Importing Contacts and Calendar from Microsoft Outlook over to iPhone is a breeze. With just a few clicks within minutes, iPhone is ready to use with music, podcasts, and photos. The iPhone Apps allows you to read blogs offline, keep track of foreign currencies and stocks, check your social network on Facebook, identify songs on the radio, and chat on MSN. The touch screen is impressive. It lets you control everything with only your fingers. With the Multi-Touch, you can type, glide through albums, scroll through photos, and zoom web pages in and out. The multi-touch navigation is intuitive and makes for fun use of the phone. The display has good resolution and color as well. For sure, you will not miss pressing those physical keypads, ever!

There is hardly any reason not to like this product. It lives up to the high expectation of being the most versatile and user-friendly phone in the world. As Apple has been adding improvements to their phones year after year, it really is hard for competing companies to outshine, or even match, the iPhone. Many people consider this phone The King of Phones. With this strong testimonial, the Apple iPhone 3G will continue to stay strong in the market.
